Oh So Much Time...

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work from home. My office is in my living room, and I tend to have fluid working hours. My hours are: whenever work needs to be done, or whenever I feel like doing work. On a day like today, it's both a blessing and a curse.

Right now, it's 4:47 p.m. and I'm sitting here feeling bored out of mind. I've had the luxury of doing whatever I choose throughout the day. A little work, a little learning, a little writing, a little reading, a little praying, a little tidying, a little nap, a little walk, and, well.. you see the trend. A little bit of everything. And yet, on a slow day like today, it feels like a lot of nothing.

Now, I'm not complaining (or at least I'm trying not to). This is the life of luxury. I call the shots. Make my schedule. Do my own thing. I never did too well with schedules - at least not other people's. So here I am - blessed with an ideal life for me. Truly blessed. And bored out of my mind for the moment. A million options, but only one sounds enticing. And, unfortunately, it's the only one I have no control over at all. (See: Calling All Shadchans) .
